its been a very...errr...ethnic weekend. just came back from this African/Francophone night a few hours ago...
before that i was listening to a lot of "out-of-my-ordinary" music, the highlight of which was Papa Wemba - New Morning, vocally AMAZING! couldnt understand a word he was saying but man this shit was BEAUTIFUL!
the passion and harmony in the notes was really outstanding, the orchestra was spot on (this is a compilation of a live session he did in France)...REALLY GOOD from first to last...
